Few things are more frustrating than stepping in hot sticky chewing gum someone spit on the ground. It gets caught in the treads of your shoes, and is very difficult to remove. Instead of contributing to the problem, contribute to one of Seaside's least known tourist attractions -- the Gum Post. Here your gum can join the pre-chewed gum of hundreds of other visitors to this charming little beach town. We don't know if any famous people pressed their masticated polymer into this pole, but we don't know that any did not, either. So regardless of whether you're a fan of Bazooka Joe, the Wrigley family, Trident, or Double Bubble, know that you're enriching the culture of Seaside when you add your gum to the Seaside Gum Post.
